His focus is on commercial real estate in Northern Illinois and the Greater Chicago Metropolitan Area. Mr. Peterson has been involved in appraising properties from as large as the Sears Tower to small retail and mixed use properties. Mr. Peterson is a past Chairman of the External Affairs Committee for the Northern Illinois Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. He also actively invests in real estate including multi-family residential units, commercial property and vacant land. He was formerly engaged in business brokerage and as an acquisitions analyst for small and mid-sized companies. Mr. Peterson is an avid runner and has completed three marathons and actively competes at many 5k and 10k distances. He is the past President of the Evanston Running Club (120 members) and is a past member of the CARA (Chicago Area Runners Association) Senate.
