Principals
Gary T. Peterson, MAI,
MBA, President is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.
He is a member of the Appraisal Institute and holds the MAI
designation. Mr. Peterson also has a Masters Degree in Business
Administration from the University of Nevada and a Bachelor
of Arts Degree from Augustana College with majors in Business
Administration and Psychology. He is the past chairman of the
External Affairs Committee of the Appraisal Institute. He also
actively invests in real estate including Multi-family residential
units, commercial properties, vacant land and a Bed & Breakfast.
Mr. Peterson is an avid runner and is the past president of
the Evanston Running Club.
Michael J.W. Halliburton, Vice President
is a Illinois and Michigan State Certified Real Estate Appraiser.
He has a B.A. in Anthropology from San Diego State University, with a minor in Mathematics.
He has also studied Planning in the Urban & Regional Planning Program at the University
of Oregon. Mr. Halliburton is an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute. He has
skills in market analysis, feasibility, and the appraisal of income producing properties.
He has complete appraisals in twenty states and in two Canadian Provinces. Mr. Halliburton
also serves as a review appraiser.
Rufino Arroyo, MA
is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. He holds
a Masters Degree in Urban Planning & Policy from the University
of Illinois, Chicago. His specialization was in Land Use and
Housing. He also has a Bachelors Degree in the History of Architecture
and an Associates Degree in Architecture. Mr. Arroyo reads,
writes and speaks fluent Spanish. Mr. Arroyo is an Associate
Member of the Appraisal Institute where he is pursuing a MAI
designation.
Robert S. Kang is a
State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. He has a Bachelors
Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois,
Champaign/Urbana. He has been appraising commercial real estate
for the last six years and also acts as a commercial review
appraiser. Mr. Kang is fluent in Korean.
George K. Stamas is
a State Certified General Real Estate appraiser and has a Bachelors
Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Northern
Iowa. His primary focus is the appraisal of industrial, commercial
and special-use properties. Mr. Stamas is an Associate Member
of the Appraisal Institute where he is pursuing an SRA designation.
Mr. Stamas is fluent in Greek.

Jolanta Bardecki,
is a Illinois State Associate Real Estate Appraiser. She holds
a Masters of Science in Business Administration from Lake
Forest Graduate School of Management. Ms. Bardecki has experience
in appraising industrial, retail, and mixed-use buildings.
Michael Burdi, is a Illinois State Licensed Residential Real Estate
Apprasier. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Loyola
University of Chicago. Mr. Burdi is experience in all
facets of residential & commercial property appraisal.
Robert A. Flood,
is a Illinois State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. He
attended the City Colleges of Chicago and is a retired Chicago
Police Detective.
Paul D. Leali,
is a Illinois State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. He
serves as a commercial real estate appraiser. Mr. Leali also
provides client support and appraiser training. Mr. Leali has
been appraising since 1998.
Matthew T. Kang,,
is a Illinois State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser. Mr. Kang has a
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University in Chicago.
He is fluent in Korean.
Celeste Peoples,
is a Illinois State Licensed Associate Real Estate Appraiser.
She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Behavioral Science
from National-Louis University. She has appraised various
commercial type buildings and has a background in the steel
processing industry.
Brian P. Torrez,,
is a Illinois State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser.
Mr. Torrez has a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Applied Behavior Science from George Williams
College.
Elizabeth Strand,,
is a Illinois State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser.
Ms. Strand holds a Bachelor of Business Degree
with a major in Finance and an emphasis in Real Estate
from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.
Marc Sachs,,
is a Illinois State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser.

Tim Serges,,
is a Illinois State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser. He has a
Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Univerisity
of Illinois. Mr. Serges has evaluated many types of properties
including vacant land, apartment buildings, industrial buildings,
and mixed-use buildings.
